In a nutshell  - Who we are and What we do

Jadavpur University Alumni Association Hyderabad is a vibrant community of professionals engaged in various initiatives. We are also on the lookout for partnering opportunities with like minded organizations and NGOs. We heartily solicit all our members and non members to get involved.

Activities

• Providing scholarships to poor and meritorious students through parent alumni association
• Partnering with NGOs like Sneha Ghar Aman Vedika and engage on child welfare
• Partnering with Lions' Club to help conduct philanthropic activities in remote villages of Telengana in districts of Adilabad and Warangal
• Spending time with the aged in old age homes and providing them with food items
• Organizing major cultural programmes in the city with performances by internationally acclaimed artists like Pt. Viswamohan Bhatt, Pt. Rahul Sharma, Pt. Raghav Chatterjee, Pt. Subhankar, Soumitra Chattohpadhyay, and others
• Help in rebuilding cyclone Aila affected schools in Sundarban area of West Bengal
• Conducting Science Symposium every year for developing scientific temperament and promoting inquisitiveness among school students of Hyderabad since 2009
